March

This fifth photo series took part during the month of March, during which I seemed to experiment less with my camera. Indeed, unlike the two previous photo series, I was not on vacation anymore, which meant that school had taken a toll on the amount of free time I had left. The time I had to take pictures, I was mostly confined to the indoors, as this month of March was mostly composed of rainy days, during which I did not want to venture outside and get my camera wet. Due to this, I believe the pictures I took during this month reflect warmth and coziness, as my friends and I tended to stay inside more instead of venturing out for long walks around our city. Indeed, the colors that the photos are composed of are mostly in the tints of red, yellow, orange, brown, all which suggest comfort and relaxation.

It is also with this photo series that I learned that when taking pictures indoors, it is important to make sure to adjust luminosity in consequence, otherwise the pictures will end up being mostly underexposed, meaning that they will come out very dark. I underestimated the luminosity needed indoors, and put it lower than it should of, which explains why my photos are rather dark in comparison to the ones from the other series. On the one hand, the photos turned out darker than I had anticipated, but on the other, the colors portrayed describe the emotion and feeling felt throughout the month of March.
